Learn About Us as we travel in our RV full-time with rescue dogs.
We are Brad & Kristina Solomon! Empty Nesters, Grandparents, Full-time RVers, Hawaii Lovers & Supporters of Rescue Animals and Paying It Forward.!
Originally, the journey started with the plan of moving to Hawaii and that is still our end goal. However, circumstances changed, like more Grandbabies arriving, so we felt the need to stay on the mainland for a while longer! As a result, we decided to sell our business, rent out our house, buy an RV, load up the dogs and hit the road.
First and foremost, our desire is to encourage others to pause and take in the beauty all around you! In addition, see the effects “Pawzing” has on your mind, body & soul. Furthermore, we want to bring awareness to Animal Rescues. Discovering the wonderful effects these “Pawz” have on your life is such a great Reward! For instance, they give you unconditional love, as well as psychologically, emotionally & physically beneficial to their companions.
First, let me introduce you to Brad…
Ultimately, Brad is the force behind this journey! For instance, Brad is dedicated to keeping our focus on what’s important, which is slowing down & enjoying our surroundings. Although reluctant at first to have multiple dogs, Brad was eventually hooked, after many slobbery kisses! Above all else, Brad’s love for his family second to none. In addition, Brad loves spoiling Granddaughters & wrestling with Grandsons. Brad LOVES to laugh at his own “Dad jokes”.
And finally, let’s meet Kris…
Let’s just say Kris loves to spoil her Furbabies & Grandbabies and cover them in kisses! Kris is a diehard Seattle Seahawk fan and loves the Pacific Northwest second to Maui. In addition to spending time with family & friends, Kris loves cooking and finding great little coffee shops along the way. She loves the simplicity of RV living, new adventures and most importantly, the amount of time that can be spent doing things that really matter, instead of cleaning a house!
NOW FOR THE STARS OF THE SHOW…
Meet Presley… Our sweet 8 yr. old Siberian Husky that we adopted at a year old. Presley’s previous owner had become ill and couldn’t take care of her. As a result, Presley was either being tied up or kept in a crate all day with little interaction. For this reason, Presley’s owners felt it was best to surrender her. We brought Presley into our home just a short time after my mom passed away. Ultimately, Presley helped me through a difficult time after losing my mom to cancer. Even though I was going through a hard time, having Presley to take care of was a blessing in disguise. Above all, I was forced to get up, get dressed and take several walks a day. Presley is my buddy and I am forever grateful for her companionship during such a difficult time. Presley is a sweetheart, loves belly rubs and can usually be found laying by our feet!
Oh, Priscilla…Our goofy 3 yr. old “Tiny Horse” deaf Great Dane joined our family at 9 months old. Consequently, Priscilla’s previous family didn’t know how to handle the needs of a deaf dog. As a result, they surrendered her at just 5 months old. Despite Priscilla’s “special needs”, which include separation anxiety and night blindness, most likely a result of her deafness, we have never met a happier dog! Priscilla LOVES being with her humans, both big & small! Because of this, Priscilla would make an excellent therapy dog, but for now, she can continue to unofficially provide therapy to those she meets on the road! Ultimately, Priscilla has taught us to “Pawz”, be silly and above all, Enjoy Life! For More Information on fostering or adopting a Great Dane go to http://foreverfriendsgdri.com/
